A little about me

I'm not interested in stirring up controversy, but if it rears its ugly head I'm not going to run away from it. Being broad minded or narrow minded, LHW or RHW are all cute euphemisms for underlying tensions that are sometimes aroused by other seemingly innocuous conversations. However it comes to light, I will answer as best I can within board rules.

This is mainly for those who somehow think they are superior simply because they are more pacifist in nature. I can assure you that is not the truth. I will kill a wild trout or two and have a glorious stream side meal and I will kill a deer (even John G does, can it be so wrong? image) to have good non UDSA inspected hormone free red meat. I will retain my right of self preservation even though you may freely abdicate yours to a loving Government institution.

I'm all for taking care of the environment, but I think we can also extract oil and gas in wild areas with little damage to the environment. Would I rather we never have to drill in pristine areas? Yes, I would. But with the current appetite for oil products, we have little choice if we intend to untie the apron strings to our oil producing neighbors.

C&R is a good thing, but it is not a religious tenant to attain saint hood status among the brethren of the bamboo society. Do it if you like, but don't look down on those who don't practice it 100%.

Hopefully we can continue to share good information on bamboo rods and all that encompass these true works of art and make some friends along the way.

BTW, thanks for all the information on the Cache de Poudre river. Not
